The Process
If you wish to oppose a patent and hide behind the name of Strawman™ the process is very simple.
Simply ask a European Patent Attorney (or any other legal representative entitled to act before the European Patent Office) to fill out the Application Form online. The European Patent Attorney (or any other legal representative entitled to act before the European Patent Office) may be your own selected European Patent Attorney or may be a European Patent Attorney selected by another person or organisation that acts for you, such as one of your external legal representatives.
That's all there is to it!
There is no requirement to disclose your name and we do not even want to know if you have good cause to file an opposition.
We simply need some basic information on the patent - such as the name of the patent owner and patent number.
We will also require confirmation from your European Patent Attorney (or any other legal representative entitled to act before the European Patent Office) that you are not the owner of the patent that you want opposed. If you are the patent owner then we are sorry that we cannot help you in this particular circumstance.
Finally, please read The Agreement. Even though this Agreement is between the Company/Firm of your European Patent Attorney (or other legal representative entitled to act before the European Patent Office) and Strawman™, you should know the terms of the document.
